Nestled in Chatham, our fully licensed and inspected residential studio, Confections by the Sea, serves clients across Cape Cod. We strive to create edible art and work with a limited number of clients each year so that we are able to give our utmost attention to the details of every cake and offer our clients a truly professional and personalized experience from start to finish.

Ordering Your Wedding Cake
Congratulations on your engagement! To begin your journey with Confections by the Sea, please reach out to us with your wedding date through our Wedding Cake Inquiry Form. Our calendar fills up quickly, so we encourage early contact.
Wedding Cake Tasting
Part of your wedding cake experience at Confections by the Sea involves visiting our studio for an in-person Cake Tasting and Consultation. For couples who have already commissioned us to create their wedding cake, this Tasting and Consultation is offered as a complimentary service. If you’re interested in sampling our cakes before making a commitment, you’re welcome to schedule an in-person Cake Tasting & Consultation or opt for a To-Go Tasting Box, both of which are available by appointment only.
Deposits and Balances
Secure your wedding date on our cake calendar with a $150 non-refundable deposit. You will receive an initial quotation based on the details you provide us, including the number of guests, cake design, and venue location. This deposit will be applied to the final price of your wedding cake order once your design is finalized. For more information on our cake prices, please click on the button below.
Finalizing Your cake design
Once you have secured a spot on our calendar with your deposit, we will confirm your cake design and details, and provide you with a contract that includes your final quotation along with our terms and agreement. Fifty percent of your cake total will be due upon signing the agreement, and the remaining balance will be due one month prior to your event. This is after we finalize your guest count and all details of your cake design and flavors.
Sugar Flowers & More
Choose our hand-made sugar flowers for a stunning, food-safe alternative to fresh flowers on your cake. These exquisite creations can be customized to match your wedding theme and flowers and can provide you with your favorite flowers even when they are out of season. When stored properly, they are a lasting keepsake of your special day.
